I’ve never met a GP who demonstrates such empathy and commitment. Dr Rashid manages to balance unwavering kindness and compassion, with rigorous professionalism. She has even phoned me at the weekend to update me on my treatment. Dr Rashid is the best GP I’ve ever had the privilege of seeing and I would probably be bereft if she left the surgery! The only constructive criticism I have is that sometimes Dr Rashid listens so intently that her non-verbal body language such as nods in quick succession etc, can make me feel rushed and not as coherent as I would like when I'm explaining things to her. However, this is minor compared with the exemplary care I receive from her.

I have seen Dr. Rashid a few times in the past for physical health issues and she has always been absolutely spot on with advice, diagnosis and treatment. Today I visited with a mental health issue and have been too scared up to now to seek medical advice for fear of being judged or not understood. Again Dr. Rashid's outstanding medical competence was evident but it was a huge relief to find that she is equally competent at dealing with mental health issues. I can't thank her enough for the way she dealt with me today. The NHS would save a fortune if all doctors were this good. You don't need to leave the surgery with a prescription in your hand or spend longer than 10 minutes with the doctor if they are able to deal with you sensibly and sensitively. I can't really make any suggestions for improvement - except that the practice should appreciate and give credit to outstanding doctors like this and try to learn best practice from them.

Dr Rashid has been my family doctor for 2 years and I wouldn't want to see anyone else. As a doctor myself, I can genuinely say that she is kind, thorough and really cares about her patients. I completely trust her with the health of my family and can't recommend her highly enough.
